“Our soul has come here in this world to make an experience, for a solid purpose. We all are spiritual beings on a human journey, according to me”
Woman entrepreneur Aaliyah Bincy Mathew, who worked solely as a mathematics coach in the early part of her career has been actively involved in the field of wellness and thought process reengineering. Aaliyah looks at the long dreaded subject as her own and applies it as a maxim for life.
She says, “I have been trying to impart wellness in mathematics over the years, as a coach and I have been working with children to make mathematics accessible to them. As part of my interactions with them, I realised that most children lack a proper health, be it mental or physical condition, and no substantial preventive measure has been found to delve into the same.”
Aaliyah got exposed to a company called Vieroots’ Epigenetic Lifestyle Modification, which was a personalised approach. Vieroots, with a futuristic approach for entrepreneurs, helps people to take charge of their health. It deals with the cellular way, identifying likely conditions and further extending or preventing lifestyle diseases. Their prime focus is the health of women, as it is the foundation from where others in a family derive the same. She is now inclined more towards business mentoring, and has Ayushmantra wellness clinic to her credit.
She goes on to say, “Mathematics, for me, is a tool for developing intellectual ability. It is a digital and universal language, with an order and structure. As you keep learning, the mental horizons start expanding. When children feel that problems have become a stumbling block in their life, it creates a sense of agony among them. They become less confident, as part of not being able to overcome certain problems. Mathematical problems could in the larger scheme of things be viewed as life.”
Today, Aaliyah has served as a mathematics coach for 18 years, with 3600 personal case studies and has completed seventh year in Thought Process Reengineering. The last year hit by the pandemic has had a heavy toll on her, as a person, and it brought her to a realisation why such an approach is necessary at this age and time.
Ask her as to what she would tell the younger Aaliyah, was taking baby steps in her venture, “I want to tell ‘dear Aaliyah, I accept you, and I love you. You have learnt a lot. You are improving well, each day. If you have a sky, you will fly high. Make mistakes and learn from it. Do not be afraid to be mistaken’.”
The young entrepreneur says that our body and soul needs a few hacks, so as to be in a place of ease and comfort. “Our soul has come here in this world to make an experience, for a solid purpose. We all are spiritual beings on a human journey, according to me. If we are able to align the soul and body in a healthy way, we would be successful.”
She says that life brings along with it a whirlwind of emotions. “When I am happy, I am thankful. When I am feeling low, the very moment I think about what could be done. I don’t delve into it longer and make sure to take the next step. I give a thanks note to the universe even then, as it has given me a good learning experience.”
Before signing off, she says more than formal education, one must prioritise personal education. If you have academic achievements, yet you don’t know yourself, then everything goes in vain. As part of trying to find where to go, you can go anywhere, but ‘anywhere’ is never a destination. For that, there needs to be a suitable carrier, driving force and ability, and on top of that, one must be self-educated.
